Ghana’s contingent for the Paris 2024 has arrived in their pre- Games camping base in Strasbourg France to prepare for the Olympic Games.
The team left via an Air France flight on Wednesday night to Paris and will continued to Strasbourg, where they are expected to camp for 11 days before moving to the Games Village in Paris.
High jumper Rose Yeboah was the only athlete spotted at the Kotoka International Airport as the remaining seven will join the team from their respective locations.
Ghana’s representatives at the games consist of 21 members, including Ghana Olympic Committee President Ben Nunoo Mensah, among others, as officials.
The global tournament runs from July 26 to August 11.

The delegation includes eight athletes which features the 4x100m relay team in track and field, Joselle Mensah and Harry Stacey in Swimming, and Rose Yeboah in the high jump event.
The remaining 12 members are officials, including the Ghana Olympic Committee President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, and Chef de Mission, Isaac Kwasi Aboagye, among others.
The contingent is expected to leave Ghana on Wednesday for a training camp in Strasbourg before eventually moving to the Games Village in Paris.
The global tournament runs from July 6 to August 11.
