The Ghana Beach Volleyball team failed to get a slot for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Beach Volleyball when they placed fourth at the just ended FIVB Continental Cup in Agadir, Morocco.
The team was seeking qualification to the multi- sport competition in Paris, took part in the Men competition along side Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Togo and Tunisia.
The final list of teams for the Olympics will be confirmed after July 1.
Abdul Hamid Ibrahim and Eric Tsatsu made up the Men’s team, while Charity Torku and Juliana Aryee were in the female category of the competition.
